Pre-Move In Checklist

To ensure a smooth move-in experience, please make sure the following items are completed before your lease start date:

Renters Insurance

All residents are required to have an active renters insurance policy in place before moving in.

• Upload a copy of your policy to your tenant portal as soon as it's available.

• Make sure your coverage begins on or before your lease start date.

Lease Completion

Your lease must be fully signed by all parties prior to move-in.

• If any co-signers or additional residents are on the lease with you, ensure they’ve completed their parts too.

Utilities

Utilities must be active in your name by the time you take possession of the property.

• Ensure you set up all required utilities in advance.

• Provide account numbers for each utility to MoveZen using the form below.

Move-In Funds

All move-in funds must be paid in full before receiving access to the property.

• Payments can be made securely through your tenant portal up to 7 days in advance of your move-in date.
• If you're moving in within 7 days and still need to make a payment, let us know—we can send you an electronic cash payment slip.
• Only certified funds are accepted if you're moving in within 7 days.

Move-In Timing & Access

All leases will begin on a weekday.

• Even if you're planning to physically move in over the weekend, please ensure someone can visit the property on your official move-in date during business hours.

• This allows us to quickly assist with any potential access issues!
