How Long Can I Hold a Potential Rental & What Date Can I Move In?
We understand timing is important when planning a move. Below are key guidelines and tips about availability, lease start dates, and preparing for your rental search.

We recommend that you track the market, and learn a lot about the communities and traffic patterns, which will better serve you in finding the right home once the time is right. The rental market tends to move a lot faster these days.
If you're traveling and must secure something while you're in the area, it'll most likely have to be tenant-occupied with a lease ending around the time you'll be moving. That means scheduled showings etc, but if you think a home is the right one we can usually do that.

If you apply and are approved for a MoveZen managed home, your lease start date must fall on a weekday. You are welcome to physically move in over the weekend if you'd like, however, we strongly recommend accessing the property on your lease start date during business hours. This helps avoid potential access issues that may take longer to resolve over a weekend. This ensure we're available to assist you promptly if any concerns arise!
