What Counts as a Maintenance Emergency?
An emergency is any issue that requires immediate attention to prevent damage to the home or significant disruption to your ability to live there. Common examples include:
-
No heat during cold weather or no AC during extreme heat
-
Flooding, major water leaks, or sewer backups
-
No running water
-
No functioning toilet (if only one in the home)
-
Power outage affecting the entire unit
-
Electrical issues that smell like burning or cause sparking
-
Gas leaks or smell of gas
-
Broken exterior doors or windows that cannot be secured
If you're unsure, go ahead and report the issue — our team will help determine how urgent it is.
