# What is the Best Method to Update My Contact Information?
## The fastest and most secure way to update your contact information is through your existing resident portal login. This ensures your data is verified and that only you can access or modify personal details.
If you’re unable or prefer not to use the portal, you can **submit a help ticket** instead. Use the link on the screen above and include the following in your message:
- Your **full name**, **email**, **phone number**, and **date of birth**
- A **clearly labeled note** showing your **new contact information**
- Specify whether you’re **adding** or **replacing** existing details
Because your contact information is tied to identity verification, we **require full ID verification** before manually updating it on our end — but you can always make changes yourself in your portal anytime.
