# How Do I Know MoveZen is a Reputable Company
## When you're trusting a company with your home or investment, you shouldn't have to take their word for it. MoveZen has been operating in North Carolina for over 20 years, and our standing is publicly verifiable through official state records.
First, always be sure that you are actually dealing with our company. Our 20 year reputation is meaningless if the person you are dealing with is frauduently claiming to be a representative of our company. The best method to double check this issue is to contact a publicly available, and double verfied phone number, and give us a quick call. DO NOT use numbers, links or anything provided to you by the person in question for this fraud verification step because they can be faked.
